General Secretary - Dave Thomas
Dave Thomas was appointed to the post of General Secretary in June 2007. Prior to this he served as Deputy General Secretary and Assistant General Secretary of the Association.
Dave joined the Civil Service in 1977 and has worked in the Courts Service and the Department of Health. He served on the Executive of the District Court Provincial Clerks Association, was Vice President of the CSEU, President of the PSEU and both Chairman and Secretary of the General Staff Panel.
Deputy General Secretary - John Kelleher
John Kelleher was appointed to the post of Deputy General Secretary in December 2007. John served as Assistant General Secretary since 2002.
Before joining the Association as a full time official, John worked in a number of management positions in An Post and was the AHCPS Branch Secretary in the company for a number of years.
John is a graduate of NUIG and also holds an M.A. in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management from Keele University.

Assistant General Secretary - Ciaran Rohan
Ciaran Rohan was appointed to the post of Assistant General Secretary in May 2008.
Ciaran joined the Civil Service in 1987 and has worked in the Department of Education and Science and the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General. He held a number of roles within the PSEU was a member of the AHCPS Executive Committee from 2002. He served as both Vice Chairperson and Chairperson of the Association.
Ciaran is a graduate of the IPA, has a Diploma in Employment Law and also holds an M.A. in Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland.
