Cir. 13/2025 – NSSO Pension Deductions Issue

Dear Branch Secretary,
You will have seen coverage in the media today and yesterday regarding the discovery by the NSSO of significant anomalies in the deduction of pension-related contributions from retired Civil Servants and Ministers.
The Association has reviewed the available information and consulted with the Department of Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery and Reform. We are satisfied that the issues identified do not impact on any of our current members.
We note that an external audit has been initiated by the Minister, and we will continue to monitor the situation and brief members as required.
