Circular 18/2013 - Impact of LRC Proposals on pay and increments

Dear Branch Secretary

Please find attached a spreadsheet  Pre 1995 and  Post 1995 which outlines the projected losses for APs and POs  (for both pay and increments) relating to the LRC proposals. As you can see from the figures, those on lower points of the scales are impacted to a greater extent.

The Association is aware that there are a number of issues that require clarification in advance of the proposals being put to ballot. The Association has already met with the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform (DPER) to seek these clarifications. The Association also understands that DPER will be producing a questions and answers document.

There are a large number of queries arriving in Head Office. However, because of AGMs etc, we are not in a position to respond to members as quickly as we would like. Please accept my apologies for this. The Officials will do their best to respond to them as quickly as possible.
