Dear Branch Secretary
You may have seen some documents launched by the Government in recent days. The first document that issued is called Strengthening Civil Service Accountability and Performance. This is a consultation paper on Programme for Government commitments. This process aims to bring about change and reform to the current accountability arrangements. The Association intends making a comprehensive submission on this document. In this context the views of Branches are now being sought. It would be appreciated if Branches could submit views on this document to Head Office no later than Friday the 14th of February 2014.
The second set of documents that issued from DPER is the Public Service Reform Plan 2014-2016. This was accompanied by an Action Plan for Public Service Reform 2014-2016 and the Second progress report on the Public Service Reform Plan. The views of Branches in relation to these documents would also be appreciated.
