Towards 2016
While the programme itself runs until 2016 the pay element lasts for 27 months and provides for a cumulative increase of 10.38%. In the civil service the increases, subject to sign off by the PVG, are as follows:
- 3% from 1 December 2006
- 2% from 1 June 2007
- 2.5% from 1 March 2008
- 2.5% from 1 September 2008
The agreement also allows for public service benchmarking to continue.
In the public service lead in dates vary from employment to employment and are timed as follows:
- 3% for first six months of Agreement
- 2% for next nine months of Agreement
- 2.5% for next six months of Agreement
- 2.5% for next six months of Agreement
