The latest update from DPER (issued today 9 April) on working arrangements and temporary assignments can be found here: https://www.gov.ie/en/news/092fff-update-on-working-arrangements-and-leave-associated-with-covid-19-fo/
This updates confirms the withdrawal of the flexible working hours system. In addition all work patterns/arrangements will be included in the temporary assignment scheme. It also includes a section on the Shorter Working Year scheme.
